Mark A. Monaco Memorial Scholarship — 2000 Recipients

Krista Wierzbicki

Krista Wierzbicki

One of Krista's teachers commented to Joyce Monaco that Krista reminds her a lot of Mark. Ms. Wierzbicki's character, exuberance and diligence seem to form the foundation for her many successes.

Krista's interest and involvement in the Future Business Leaders of America from grade 10 through grade 12 has special meaning as well. Marcy Monaco, Mark's twin sister, founded FBLA for Maryvale High School during the 1991-1992 school year. It is especially pleasing to see Krista win this award for that reason.
